Cyclin E, which regulates the G1/S phase transition, has been reported to be highly expressed in pancreatic cancer and promotes pancreatic adenocarcinoma (Liu Z. et al., 2020), and its downregulation suppresses pancreatic tumorigenesis (Franco et al., 2014; Liu B. et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene CCNE1 and pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
