After two failed incisions and drainage, along with courses of antibiotics (Amoxicillin 500 mg with Clavulanic acid 125 mg and later Cefixime 250 mg), the finding of atypical cells on biopsy along with immunohistochemistry positive for CD30 and focally positive for CD45 raised suspicion of lymphoma.
