LPCAT1 and posterior cortical atrophy: CRPC FMT treated mice showed increased levels of most fecal lipids, such as lysophosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylcholine, along with higher levels of LPCAT1, RAD51, and DNA-PKcs in the prostate, indicating that Ruminococcus may promote PCa progression by upregulating LPCAT1 and DNA repair proteins (Liu Y. et al., 2021).
