The results demonstrated that male, age, BMI, WC, ALT, AST, GGT, TC, TG, HbA1c, FPG, SBP, DBP, fatty liver, smoking status (past or current) (P < 0.05) and alcohol consumption (heavy) were positively correlated with the risk of T2DM and that the HDL (P < 0.0001) was negatively correlated with the risk of T2DM.
