In line with our results, in a study conducted by Sousou et al. (32) on rats with liver fibrosis, supplementation with purslane aerial part extract at a dose of 400 mg/kg per day caused a significant decrease in AST, ALT, ALP, GGT, total bilirubin, MDA, and tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), and a significant increase in SOD, CAT, GPx, and GSH levels. Here, TNF is linked to Hepatic fibrosis.
