CD8A and neoplasm: MYC also promotes the expression of multiple cytokines, such as CCL2, IL-13, IL-23, and CCL9, which regulate the transformation of anti-tumor M1 macrophages into pro-tumor M2 macrophages, block the activation and recruitment of B cells, natural killer (NK) cells, and CD8 + T cells, and activate mast cells and induce angiogenesis [60, 61, 65, 66].
