This is observed in blocking studies with levetiracetam, which find post-blockade reductions in [11C]UCB-J, [18F]SynVesT-1 and [18F]SynVesT-2 uptake in the CSO of 10–15%, 33.3% and 20% respectively [29, 35, 47], which would not be expected in a region lacking SV2A. The gene discussed is SV2A; the disease is craniosynostosis.
