Similarly in the SCLC gene, CLCA2 was positive in five patients, followed by survivin and CK7 in four patients each. There was no statistically significant relationship between NSCLC/SCLC and HMGB3 (χ2(1) = 0.26, p = 0.607), CLCA2 (χ2(1) = 0.04, p = 0.849), ASH1 (χ2(1) = 0.1, p = 0.747), survivin (χ2(1) = 1.1, p = 0.293), CK7 (χ2(1) = 0.04, p = 0.849), and L587S (χ2(1) = 1.82, p = 0.177; Table 4). The gene discussed is ASCL1; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
