The function of FAM30A has been disclosed in various cancers, including gastric cancer, laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma, and lung adenocarcinoma.12-14 In addition, FAM30A also could affect the proliferation and migration of acute myeloid leukemia and laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma cells.13,15 FAM30A was also demonstrated to be relevant to immunomodulatory processes.16-18 Thererfore, FAM30A was hypothysized as a novel potential biomarker for CRC, which was confirmed in the present study. The gene discussed is FAM30A; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
