Real-time PCR data showed that 27 °C significantly suppressed thermogenic gene expression, including UCP1, elongation of very long chain fatty acids protein 3 (ELOVL3), and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator-1alpha (PGC1α), in mice fed CHD or FFD (Figure 3C–E). The gene discussed is UCP1; the disease is coronary artery disorder.
