IGHE and eosinophilic esophagitis: Diseases in which wheat often serves as a common trigger, such as food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES) and food protein-induced enteropathy (FPE) in infancy and childhood represent non-IgE-mediated food allergy disorders, while eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) in pediatric and adult patients is considered a mixed-IgE and non-IgE-mediated food allergy.
