Lai et al. utilized anti-VEGF neutralizing antibodies (10 mg/kg intraperitoneal B20-4.1.1 VEGF mAb) to manage cyclophosphamide (CYP)-induced cystitis in C57BL/6 J mice, in which the systemic blockade of VEGF signaling with anti-VEGF neutralizing antibodies significantly reduced pelvic/bladder nociceptive responses, tested by using von Frey filaments, in CYP-induced cystitis mice [27]. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and cystitis.
