Comparing children with cerebral palsy (CPG, i.e., CPEN and CPC together, n = 53) to healthy controls (HC, n = 24), statistically significant differences were observed for calprotectin (p = 0.000018, higher in the CPG) and IFABP (p = 0.021, higher in the HC) (Table 6 and Figure 2). Here, FABP2 is linked to cerebral palsy.
