TTR and amyloidosis: After completing the supplementary investigations, 17 patients were diagnosed with amyloidosis due to transthyretin located in the carpus (no scintigraphic cardiac uptake or grade 0); 1 with immunoglobulin light chain amyloidosis; 8 with ATTR with cardiac involvement (grade 2–3); and 5 with transthyretin amyloidosis in the carpus presenting grade 1 scintigraphic uptake, without abnormalities on laboratory tests or echocardiogram.
