The anti-cancer effects of some plant flavonoids were summarized by Rahaman et al. [22], highlighting that quercetin, luteolin, and kaempferol, along with other flavonoids, possess these properties due to their COX-2 and matrix metalloprotease (MMP) inhibition potential; thus, the inhibitory mechanism differs among compounds and cancer types.
