CDK4 and familial pancreatic carcinoma: In vitro studies indicate that Pan is effective in pancreatic cancer when used with other drugs, such as PI3K inhibitors [23], CHK1 inhibitors [12], mTOR inhibitors [48], etc. The combined effectiveness of CDK4/6 inhibitors has also been tested in PDAC along with HuR/YAP inhibitors [20], mTOR inhibitors [42], ERK inhibitors [49], etc. However, the combination of the CDK4/6 inhibitor Abe with the HDACi Pan has not been studied or reported thus far in PDAC cells.
