Associations for increased serum IgA levels [44] and lower multiple myeloma risk [45, 46] have been reported at rs3815768-T and rs56219066-C, respectively, in LD (R2 > 0.8) with our lead SNP rs11744881-T at ELL2, here associated with lower IgA N-glycan sialylation.
