In a recent in vivo study (189), the expression of chemokine ligand 10 (CXCL10) was linked to enhanced CD8+ T-cell infiltration, and upregulation of CXCL10 improved the responsiveness of CRC cells to a combined treatment of cetuximab and anti-PD-1, unlike when these treatments were administered individually. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and colorectal carcinoma.
