We have previously shown that FKBP52 co-localizes with autophagy-lysosomal markers and an early pathological Tau isoform in AD neurons (Meduri et al., 2016), and that FKBP52 knock down impaired the lysosomal clustering induced by Tau proteotoxicity in vitro (Chambraud et al., 2021).
