In line with our predictions, GEPIA tumor database revealed that ASPM, CCNB1, CENPF, EZH2, MKI67, ANLN, HMMR, and RRM2 exhibited significantly elevated levels in HCC compared to their expression in healthy tissues (p‐value Cutoff: 0.01) (Figure 4), suggesting a key role of these genes in HCC. This evidence concerns the gene ANLN and hepatocellular carcinoma.
