PGAM5 is a mitochondrial protein involved in various cellular processes such as cell death, metabolism, and stress response.[7, 8, 9, 10, 11] Elevated levels of PGAM5 are strongly associated with HCC, melanoma, non‐small cell lung cancer and gastric cancer,[12, 13, 14, 15] but the precise role of PGAM5 in HCC is unclear. Here, PGAM5 is linked to lung cancer.
