In contrast to our prior findings using Bayesian modelling of RELA and cell shape with breast cancer cells in the absence of cytoskeletal measurements (Sero et al., 2015; Sailem and Bakal, 2017), here we found a general lack of dependence of nuclear RELA on cell shape features, but identified strong and consistent dependencies of nuclear RELA on cytoplasm actin and tubulin, as well as actin texture, in several PDAC cell lines and TNFα doses (Figure 2D). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and breast carcinoma.
