Remarkably, CT26.wt-OE and SW620-OE cell showed a decrease of MDA levels, accompanied by an increase of the GSH/GSSG ratio, indicating that the overexpression of CYP4F3 may contribute to reducing intracellular oxidative stress, thereby decreasing the production of lipid peroxidation and increasing the availability of reduced glutathione, thus enhancing the antioxidant capacity of CRC cells (Fig. 3B, C). This evidence concerns the gene CYP4F3 and colorectal carcinoma.
