While several anti-PD-1 and anti-PD-L1 radiopharmaceuticals were able to predict response to immunotherapy in small clinical cohorts, evaluation of 89Zr-Durvalumab (anti-PD-L1) in 10 patients with NSCLC, 89Zr-Cx-072 (a PD-L1 pro-body) in 8 patients with a variety of tumor types, and 68Ga-WL12 (a peptide-based anit-PD-L1 agent) in 8 patients with NSCLC all demonstrated a correlation between radiopharmaceutical uptake and ICI response but these results were not statistically significant (38). The gene discussed is CD274; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
