Clematichinenoside AR, a compound isolated from the root of Clematis manshurica Rupr., inhibits TGF-β1-induced hypoxia and the activation of succinic acid-associated NLRP3 inflammasome in the synovium of RA rats by inhibiting SDH activity, thereby preventing myofibroblast activation via the prevention of a cross-talk between inflammation and fibrosis whose dose at 50 mg/kg (Li et al., 2016). This evidence concerns the gene TGFB1 and rheumatoid arthritis.
