BCR and chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive: Meanwhile, there is a variety of BCR:ABL1 TKIs used for CML, namely, the second generation nilotinib, dasatinib, bosutinib, third generation ponatinib, and the novel STAMP-inhibitor (specifically targeting the BCR:ABL1 myristoyl pocket) asciminib (Schoepfer et al., 2018; Luciano et al., 2020), which all differ in the spectrum of targeted kinases and side effects (Kaehler and Cascorbi, 2023) (Table 1).
