miR-512-5p, miR-491, miR-140-3p, and miR-548ac have been found to reduce the levels of endogenous TRIM28 in gastric cancer (GC), glioblastoma, breast cancer (BC), and acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells (Qi Z. et al., 2016; Zhou et al., 2019; Zou et al., 2021; Zhao et al., 2022). This evidence concerns the gene TRIM28 and acute myeloid leukemia.
