MKI67 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma: The study classified 62 bladder urothelial cancer cases into muscle-invasive (MIBC) and non-muscle-invasive (NMIBC) groups. Results showed no significant difference in p53 expression between MIBC and NMIBC using a 20% cutoff. Ki-67 expression correlated with higher grade and muscle invasion, while negative p16 immunostaining was linked to lower grade and NMIBC, especially in papillary pattern cases.
