CRP and congenital rubella syndrome: Suggested factors that might predispose individuals to developing ICANS include pre-existing neurological conditions, previous occurrence of CRS, increased doses and peak expansion levels of CAR-T cells, elevated tumor burden during CAR-T infusion, reduced platelet counts at infusion, and elevated levels of inflammatory markers such as C-reactive protein (CRP) or ferritin, as well as certain cytokines like interleukin IL-1, IL-6, IL-10, and interferon-gamma.
