Studies have demonstrated that abnormalities in AG genomes primarily affect the v-myb avian myeloma virus oncogenic homolog (MYB) gene located at 6q23.3, where MYB genes are normally fused to form the MYB-QKI fusion protein, which is observed in most AG tumor cells [19, 20, 29–34]. The gene discussed is MYB; the disease is neoplasm.
