IL10 and Parkinson disease: Thus, our results suggest that IL‐10‐producing Tregs have a neuroprotective effect, which reinforces the role of IL‐10, a cytokine with anti‐inflammatory activity; this effect would be mediated by the IL‐10 receptor through the JAK/STAT3 pathway, leading to decreased cleavage of caspase‐3 and ‐9, thus reducing neuronal death in models of PD based on LPS‐induced damage.35
