HDAC6 and ischemic stroke: Urine-derived stem cell exosomes enhanced neuron generation and reduced neurological impairments in post-ischemic stroke rats, and in vitro experiments with neural stem cells exposed to OGD/R revealed that exosomes stimulated the growth and differentiation of neurons, possibly by transferring exosomal miR-26a, which inhibits the expression of histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6).
