The numbers of CD64−Ly6C− monocytes (Ly6C− Mo) remained stable over the course of infection, unlike those of classical CD64−Ly6C+ Mo (Ly6C+ Mo) and inflammatory CD64+Ly6C+ monocytes (iMo) that peaked around day 5 post-IAV (Fig. 1, A and B). The gene discussed is FCGR1A; the disease is infection.
