In Table 2, non-survivors were significantly older than survivors (P < .001), serum NLRP3 levels, serum C-reactive protein levels and blood white blood cell counts were substantially higher in the dead than in the alive (all P < .05), and the deceased exhibited markedly higher percentages of MACCE, hypertension, and diabetes than other remainders (all P < .05). Here, CRP is linked to hypertensive disorder.
