786-O cells were implanted into nude mice subcutaneously to create a xenograft tumor model or induce lung metastasis by injecting into the caudal vein, with stable expression of negative control, FOXC1, or FOXC1 + sh-ABHD5.Overexpression of FOXC1 decreased RCC cell growth ability in vivo, whereas suppression of ABHD5 reversed this effect (Fig. 8A and B). The gene discussed is FOXC1; the disease is renal cell carcinoma.
