Previous studies considered PIM3 as a gene closely related to the occurrence of various cancers such as colon cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, gastric cancer, and breast cancer (Brault et al., 2010; Du et al., 2015; Qi et al., 2019; Wang et al., 2019; Marayati et al., 2022). This evidence concerns the gene PIM3 and pancreatic neoplasm.
