NOTCH1 and cancer: Epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), the main polyphenol in green tea, decreased the expression of Notch receptors including Notch1 (Hossain et al., 2012; Lee et al., 2013; Toden et al., 2016; Wang et al., 2020; Ashry et al., 2022) and Notch2 (Jin et al., 2013) in several cancer models.
