Mac3, marked by elevated expression of FRMD4A, RBPJ, and C3, and Mac7, characterized by increased expression of ABL2, likely participate in myxoma tumor proliferation, adhesion, and invasion.52 The mIHC staining confirmed the presence of various pro-tumor macrophage subtypes within myxoma tissue (Fig. 5f), with a significant increase in the infiltration proportion of these macrophages compared to normal tissue (Fig. 5g).
