To further scrutinize how nematodes elevate the activity of this pathway in response to infection, we examined the distribution of endogenous RAB-10 during infection with P. aeruginosa and discovered an accumulation of RAB-10 in intestinal cells (Fig. 8A and 8Aʹ), which could be due to an enhanced relocation of RAB-10 from the cytoplasm to endosomes or an increase in the expression of RAB-10. This evidence concerns the gene RAB10 and infection.
