VEGFA and Miyoshi myopathy: TAMs contribute to angiogenesis both directly and indirectly: they produce and release angiogenic factors such as vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), and in vitro, they cooperate with MM cells to stimulate proliferation, migration, and tubule formation of Human Umbilical Vein Endothelial Cells (HUVECs).
