Using IBM SPSS Statistics Version 28.0.0.0 (190) (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA), we further correlated the results of NETs assays to clinical parameters, and discovered two statistically significant correlations: [1] tissue destruction with NE-DNA complexes (P = 0.009) and [2] antibiotic resistance, as determined by the Xpert MTB/RIF test, for multi-drug-resistant (MDR) type of TB and MPO–DNA complexes (P = 0.041). The gene discussed is MPO; the disease is tuberculosis.
