Infection with H. diminuta resulted in significant (p<0.05) ~12-fold and ~8-fold increases in jejunal doublecortin-like kinase-1+ (DCLK1+) epithelial tuft cells in BALB/c and C57BL/6 mice, respectively at 11 dpi (Fig 2A–2D). Here, DCLK1 is linked to infection.
