During chronic infection, exhausted P14 CTLs from ≥30 days post-infection (dpi) Cl13 mice (with elevated PD-1 mRNA/protein42,43) exhibited a significant loss (lower percentage of cells) of locus-specific Pdcd1 biallelic association to repressive nuclear lamina relative to naive cells (and to 8-dpi effector cells) and relative to 30-dpi CTLs from Arm-infected mice (memory phenotype) (Figures 1A and 1B; Table S1).
