ALK and ROS1 are well-known mutated/rearranged oncogenes observed in patients with NSCLC, and the ALK rearrangements account for 2%–8%, while the ROS1 rearrangements for 1%–2% (Soda et al., 2007; Gainor and Shaw, 2013; Kris et al., 2014).
