Several studies have reported that IFI27 is an immune biomarker for many autoimmune diseases, such as dermatomyositis [39], Sjögren’s syndrome [40], ANCA-associated vasculitis, SLE [41, 42], the expression of which is increased significantly, and is likely involved in the immunoregulation of these diseases [43]. This evidence concerns the gene IFI27 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
