Eggers KM et al. [34] and other researchers comparedthe value of different biomarkers on the prognosis of AMI patients and founddifferent inflammatory features, coagulant activity, endothelial dysfunction, atherosclerosis, myocardial dysfunction and damage, apoptosis, renal function, glucolipid metabolism and 175 circulating biomarkers affecting the prognosticvalue of ACM, recurrent myocardial infarction, and heart failure hospitalization. This study found that BNP and GDF-15 (Growth-differentiation factor 15) have some value in the prognosis of AMIpatients. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and atherosclerosis.
