NPPB and myocardial ischemia: With regard to the above, the authors of this article suggest that acutecoronary angiography should be considered after successful endovascular treatmentof the aneurysm in patients with strong evidence of myocardial ischemia (WMA in asingle coronary artery distribution, high troponin and CK-MB level with moderateelevation of NT-proBNP, ECG changes characteristic of AMI, male sex, low-gradeSAH, presence of cardiovascular risk factors), when coronary intervention mayimprove left ventricular function and contribute to hemodynamic stability.
