[10] showed that AKI promotedinflammatory reaction, and abnormally elevated serum IL-6 concentration, whichupregulated the expression of growth factor receptor-binding protein 2 (Grb2).Grb2 mediated the disorders of myocardial cell metabolism and ATP production byaffecting the AKT kinase/mammalian target of rapamycin (Akt/mTOR) signaling pathway, impairing myocardial relaxation, andaggravating the cardiac injury after AKI [10, 58]. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and acute kidney injury.
