This further verified thathigh levels of RBP4 promoted the proliferation and migration of VSMCs and theoccurrence of diabetic macrovascular events through the regulation of thispathway, consistent with the view in our study that RBP4 is a risk factor for theprogression of coronary artery lesions in CHD patients with T2DM.
