Consistentwith these findings, these patients had the highest prevalence of cardiovascularand metabolic comorbidities (diabetes mellitus, hypertension, andhyperlipidemia), the lowest levels of N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP) [805.0 (329.0–1787.0) pmol/L], and were the least symptomatic asassessed using the NYHA (NYHA III/IV, 31.3%).
